Around 700 BC, Isaiah prophesied that God would send a savior to teach us the way to a life of wholeness & harmony. “If you wander off the road to the right or the left, you will hear his voice behind you saying: ‘Here is the road. Follow it.’” (Is 30:21)

God Himself did come in the person of Jesus, human like us, to be clearly seen, heard, understood & followed. He used words to teach us the road and gave us actual demonstration with the way He lived to teach us how to establish wholeness & harmony first within ourselves, then in our family, and in society & nature.

Let us use Advent to pray & reflect on how well we have been following the Holy Spirit of Jesus, and what needs to be improved in our attitudes, priorities & choices so that the Kingship of God may be firmly established in us - and make Christmas not just a season but a whole lifetime.
